“Jennifer!” The teacher yelled yet again “ok that’s your last chance, go to the office…Now.”
“Whatever.” I said as I rolled my eyes throwing my backpack over my shoulder, getting up and waving goodbye to Jesse and to my other friend Stephanie as I walked out the door, sticking out my tongue and mocking her as I exited, I could hear as their giggles would fade from the class as I made my way down the hallways and corridors to find my way to the office. I sighed as my mind grew heavy, plagued with flash backs. I felt a hot streaks come across my cheek; sadness was all I felt now. Put on a show, you have to otherwise the darkness will eat away at you and bring those around you down with you. That is what I believed I had to if I was to keep my sanity. The voice of Professor Xavier slowly broke up the painfully clear visions in my head...
“Yes, Jennifer, how can I help you?” His face showed worry, as if he knew something was wrong.
“No, I don’t need any help… Professor. Monroe is just on my case…” I said crossing my arms.
“Well you did deface school property.” He said with a stern yet funny looking smirk.
“Wait…how did you know that?” I said raising my eyebrow in question.
“Well, let’s just say I know you better than you know yourself.” He said with a laugh.
“I think you should come and see me later, but for now there’s someone I think you should talk to.” He said as he would call out into the connecting room. “Logan…” A tall, well-built, kind of scruffy looking man walked into the office, wearing a pair of jeans, a plain white T-shirt and a black jacket. Oddly enough even though I’ve never met him he seemed strangely familiar.
“Yea..?” He said pretty plainly, before looking over to me.
“I don’t need to talk to anybody. Just leave me alone!”,I screamed as I stormed out of the office, not before revealing my claws and putting a hole in the wall. I headed towards the garden, where maybe I could find some kind of tranquility.
