Your use of value and contour is exceptional; not everyone can accomplish that using the material(s) you've used.
The anatomy is spot on.
I've heard someone thinking about making a Christmas Ellis, but not a Nick. You have made a Nick. Props for creativity.
I know not everybody likes making backgrounds, so maybe that's why your garland and "Merry Christmas" seem a bit rushed. I'd like to see more going on in the back of Nick; maybe add a pop of color to the wall--bring more attention to what's already in the spotlight.
